Donations to the Holyhead Maritime Museum
Holyhead Maritime Museum is a Registered Charity (No. 514840) run wholly by volunteers. It relies mainly on income it generates from visitors to the Museum. However, it also welcomes donations from organisations, commercial enterprises and individuals to help maintain and develop the museum exhibits and services.
There have been occurrences when donations to the Museum have been made in the form of bequests. The Museum remains grateful for this type of donation. The Museum would also be pleased to acknowledge, normally through this website and/or the press, any donations made.
Donations can be made either at the Museum or by contacting the Museum Secretary (via our ‘Contact‘ page). Donations can also be made via the Charities & Foundations (CAF) website using our donation button below.
Join the Team – help support us
Holyhead Maritime Museum is regularly looking for additional volunteers to assist in the organisation and running of the museum. We need help in the reception and gift shop area as well as guides for the museum itself.
Previous experience of museum work is not necessary, neither is an intimate knowledge of maritime history. Support and familiarisation will be provided.
